ENTERING THE DEEP SEA
A museum educational pack promoting the topic of the deep sea by Museum Victoria, Melbourne. The pack contains three distinct items which all fit into the envelope.

The interior of the envelope contains information on bioluminescence and its uses.
The first item is about the layers of the sea. It uses a concertina fold, with each segment increasing in length. Once expanded, the item is a large, long sheet displaying information about each layer of the sea and details the creatures that dwell within them.
The booklet explains deep sea gigantism, examples including the sperm whale and giant squid.The booklet has a side flap containing a human figure shape; viewers can compare the size of human with the sizes of the deep sea creatures as they go through the book.
A pull-out card features deep sea bioluminescence. As the viewer pulls the card out, the angler fish is revealed and awaiting to devour the fish, a common tactic used by deep sea creatures.
